a. Jet pumps rely on liquid impact to transmit energy. Namely: the high-pressure working water flow through the nozzle speed greatly increased, the formation of high-speed water jet, thus reducing the pressure. Because of the viscous effect between the working water jet and the air, the high-speed flow takes away the air at the inlet of the mixing chamber, thus forming a vacuum state. Under the action of pressure difference, the sucked water is sucked in. The flow sucked at the inlet of the mixing chamber begins to mix with the high-speed working flow, which collides and enters the mixing chamber. In this way, the speed of the working flow decreases, the speed of the sucked flow increases, and the speed of the two streams gradually converges. The pressure in the mixing chamber increases gradually until the mixture is completely mixed. After mixing, the water flows into the diffusion chamber, which further converts the velocity into pressure energy and then discharges from the outlet of the diffusion chamber.
