Classification by surface condition

Classification according to twisting method

Single strand rope
Also known as single twist rope, made of steel wire
It is made by twisting around the central wire or hemp core, and can lay one or more layers of steel wire.
Double Twist Rope
It is made of double strand rope around the rope core (steel core or fiber core). It can lay one or more layers of steel wire. It is the most widely used variety of steel wire rope.
Three Twist Rope
It is made of double twisted rope as strand rope around the core of rope, mainly used for thick steel wire rope with diameter more than 60mm, such as marine steel wire rope, etc

The marking method of wire rope laying method is as follows:

A right cross lay SZ: right lay of rope, left lay of strand, the lay direction of strand is opposite to that of wire in strand, which is called cross lay
B left cross lay ZS: left lay of rope, right lay of strand
C right lay in the same direction ZZ: rope right lay, strand right lay
D left lay in the same direction: left lay of rope, left lay of strand
E right mixed twist: right twist of rope, left twist of some strands, right twist of some strands
F left mixed twist: left twist of rope, right twist of some strands, left twist of some strands
