THERMOWELL is a temperature sensor installation component that is installed outside the temperature measuring element or pre installed on the equipment to resist the pressure and corrosion of the measured medium. It is commonly known as a thermometer sleeve. THERMOWELL is mostly used with armored thermocouples, armored thermal resistors, and bimetallic thermometers.
Working pressure: Welded thermowell THERMOWELL: -0.1~10MPa; Thermowell with integral drilling type: -0.1~30MPa; Thermowell THERMOWELL should be used as the working pressure after a reasonable derating of the nominal pressure, depending on the type of material selected and the temperature of use.
Water pressure test: The pressure level of THERMOWELL test is 1.5 times the pressure resistance level of the protective tube.
Medium flow rate: THERMOWELL, a hot installation sleeve, is used in media with a flow rate not exceeding 80m/s.
